Kim Floyd is a Wyoming Native who grew up in Cody, Wyoming and graduated from Cody High School. He served in the United States Navy and retired in 2019 after 30 years with the Wyoming State AFL-CIO, the last 16 years as Executive Secretary.  Floyd served as Chairman of the Board from 2013 to 2023.

Kim is a hunting and fishing guide with over 40 years of experience helping hunters and anglers experience Northwest Wyoming's abundant recreational opportunities.  He is active as a volunteer for Cheyenne Frontier Days and is a member of Cheyenne Frontier Days Heels.

Kim and his wife Sheri have one son and four grandchildren.
