Mike Baker

District 5 

Mike Baker is a farmer north of Thermopolis and an avid outdoorsman. He hunts big game and game birds, reloads metallic cartridges, gunsmiths and enjoys fishing, especially in small streams. Mike is a member of the NRA, Farm Bureau, and Pheasants Forever. He is also very active in the Church of Christ in Thermopolis.

Mike served six terms in the Wyoming House of Representatives, from 1993 through 2004. He was chairman of the Appropriations committee and later the Travel, Recreation and Cultural Resources committee.

He and his wife Phyllis farm and manage grazing land north of Thermopolis where they can be found most days exercising their German wirehair, Demi and a Doberman pinscher, Brin.
