Gwyn McKee is a wildlife biologist with her own professional firm in Gillette.  Her work focuses on compatible mineral production and other interests in the western states.

Gwyn has worked in a wide variety of habitats ranging from remnant tall-grass prairie to the boreal forest in central Alaska.  She received her Master’s degree in Wildlife Ecology and a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Management from the University of Missouri in Columbia.

Although she did not move to Wyoming until 1994, Gwyn is a “native” at heart and has devoted herself to making a lasting contribution to her new home since she arrived.  Gwyn is a longtime leader in Wyoming conservation circles, and continues to promote proactive mitigation and habitat management for a variety of wildlife species.  She is a big game hunter (with rifle and bow) and a former falconer.

Gwyn lives in Gillette with her dogs, Rudy, Chloe and Luna.  In her free time, she enjoys gardening, hunting, and spending time with her family at her yurt in Shell.
